Today it's their turn and tomorrow we all also will be included into that age group. Remember what is happening now to cherish for a longer life have really become rare phenomena and hence treat the senior citizens as the real gems we have with us. Let them feel proud in getting older because this is often special privilege not showered on everybody. Our elders provided us with life and make it ensure to treat them with same honour and dignity as what we expect from others for ourselves. Whosoever is young today will grow old with the passing of the time. This is often a natural ending process of the life cycle and nobody can ignore this universal truth. They always express their desire to share their expertise with us. We can utilize their experience in our day- to- day life making it more meaningful and comfortable for all of us. What we are doing for them? They people have invested all their earning on us making our future brighter. But reciprocally what we are offering them. Now we forget to build an even small room for old in our new bungalow thinking that they are going to be adjusted anywhere. Moreover, variety people are prepared to lodge them in some shelters, once, there's any family dispute. Shame on us if we adopt such an attitude. Here we must remember that history repeats itself and same going to happen to us within the near future. Will we realize that the old is gold that we are able to not pay the worth? In no way we will ignore their positive role in our lives.
Develop your love and respect for old age people because gradually you are aging too. Be patient and understanding with the elderly. For several of them their life is becoming lonely, depressing, physically, mentally emotionally painful and exhausting. What we get by yelling at them. Why can't we love them and what we get reciprocally only their blessings and, wishes for our prosperity It is not their fault if they have become old.Today, it's their turn tomorrow the same is going to be repeated with us.
Why we appreciate the beauty and sweetness of old tree but can't find any speciality in an old person? Give them honour and let them feel that we still care for them. For them nothing is more soothing than bringing a reflection of smile on wrinkled faces. Let them realize that they are not unwanted, unloved, unattended and forgotten by everybody.
They did not leave us when we were young, so don't leave them once they are old and helpless. No doubt they are old but will always remain gold with immense value. Preserve them and hold their dignity high with love and care. So old will always remain gold.
