Now the trend is vegetarians are growing in numbers.

There is misconception that  vegetable food is not full of nutrient values. But chemistry prove contrary so does physiology so does the experience again because the largest and strongest animals in the world not eating flesh food of any kind-the elephant and also the rhinoceros.

Vegetable food contains more nutrient than equal amount of dead flesh.Everywhere now the flavour buds shifting us gradually towards vegan diet. This might be due to the religious faith or the systematic diet plan policy followed by a number of us for better living with vegetarian food only.

A well-planned vegetarian diet can be healthful for people at all stages of their lives. Food based on plants is also helpful in reducing  the chances of heart disease, cancer, obesity and other conditions. Plant based foods also are proving to be more environment friendly and sustainable than animal based foods.

Besides, vegetarian diet protect animal life. Can we calculate what  proportion kg of non- veg food we consume in our life time killing enormous amount of animals each year just to satisfy our demand?. In that way vegetarians are saving thousands of animal life by not including meat in their diet.

Just by adopting a veg- food a person is not turn out to be a healthful overnight.
